There are many health problems associated being a woman and it can often feel as if they are destined to suffer various pains for their entire lives. Throughout their lives, many women are lucky enough not to suffer from period pains but menstrual cramps can be something they start to experience when they reach the menopause. If you have endometriosis, or PCOS (which affects around 10 percent of women) you may get these worse than other women. There does not seem to be any reason for those who feel no menstrual discomfort and those who experience regular agonizing effects.
