Obesity is now considered as one of society’s “hidden” disease. People would certainly refer food as the primary reason why they are overweight. But it should be known that food is actually not our enemy.
Blaming the food we eat like fat and calories will do us no good. It’s not like they have their own way to stuff themselves into us. Knowing the primary factors why we are obese would hopefully open up our minds and do something about it.

1. People lack the motivation to lose weight. They gain the extra pounds because of eating more than what they need for energy or they are burning “too few” calories because of a slow metabolism. They know that they need to exercise to burn those calories but they are simply too lazy to do so.
If we want to reduce weight, we need to improve our exercise habits. And this is not easy, because let’s face it - it is not easy to say goodbye to old habits, especially if it involves cutting out the favorite things we do.
People need a powerful motivation to help them get up on their butt and sweat it out. Even though they know that benefits that they will get from losing weight, still they are just too lazy to shed off those pounds.
2. Bad eating habits. When we get fat the tendency is we eat less food and if we think eating less food is not working, then we eat less and less food. Unfortunately, this only makes the condition worse. Why, because eventually hunger creeps in and when that happens, we instantly give in to the food binge we have been holding.
3. Negative emotions probably constitutes 95% of the reasons why people are overweight and why they overeat. These emotions push people to satisfy themselves and relieve such feelings through elemental satisfaction.
Anybody who wants to lose weight can overcome these problems and prevent it from keeping them achieving a healthy lifestyle if they find a diet plan that can fit the lifestyle that they are most comfortable with and without too much fuss. However, that idea is too good to be true. So, just keep in mind the important equation to achieve a healthy and fit life, motivation plus right diet plan equals weight loss.
