Many believe it is difficult to lose weight fast but I have found a way to lose 20 pounds in 30 days using a liquid diet. The nice thing about a liquid diet is that you will lose weight fast by using a variety of 100 calorie meals.

One of the problems with most diets is cravings and the liquid protein diet satisfies your sweet cravings with shakes, bars, and cocoa. Salt cravings are solved with soups and chilli. Protein cravings are solved with eggs and carbohydrate cravings are fulfilled with oatmeal.

By eating a large variety of liquid diet products such as bars, shakes, chilli, cocoa, oatmeal, snacks, and soups you will be satisfied and stay on this diet.

One of the biggest problems with most diets is appetite supression and this diet naturally supresses your appetite by using high protein powder. As a result your body goes into mild ketosis and burns fat rather than carbohydrates.

It takes about 2 to 3 days for your body to go into mild ketosis, and once that happens you want to make sure that you continue on the diet by limiting carbohydrates so you do not kick out of ketosis. The atkins diet sometimes does not cause people to eat enough carbs and by doing there could be damage to the kidneys with too strong a ketosis.

In order to burn more fat, a dieter should always try to exercise 20 to 60 minutes per day either on a stationery bike, treadmill, or by walking or jogging. For really fast weight loss, exercise is important.

This diet is called a 5 and 1 diet since the dieter is eating 5 liquid protein meals and one “lean and green” meal made up of lean protein, such as chicken, fish, and turkey, and a green salad or cup of steamed vegetables.

For maintenance, this diet recommends that you continue on 6 meals with 3 of the meals being liquid protein meals. As soon as a person notices they are gaining weight after they reach their goal weight, they should go back on the liquid protein diet.
