There are a number of different acid reflux causes, which may well result in a person finding themselves suffering from this particular stomach condition. Often the symptoms associated with acid reflux will appear not long after food has been eaten and when the person’s stomach is actually trying to break it down and digest it.
Therefore, a person who chooses to eat food, which has high levels of acidity in them, will find that the situation is exacerbated further. This is because they are increasing the levels of acid in their stomach that is resulting in the reflux action and the liquid in which the acid is contained being able to get into the esophagus tube.

Also, another reason why a person may find that their acid reflux is much worse is because they have an issue with their weight. There is in fact a clear connection between a person being overweight and suffering from acid reflux.
What many people believe is that the additional weight a person has is resulting in pressure being placed on their stomach and esophagus and over time, the esophagus valve becomes weakened. Once it is weakened then the leakage of liquid from the stomach into the esophageal tube becomes much easier to occur.
