This famous tea comes from the Fujian region in the village of Congou Tanyang (Panyong), for centuries one of the most famous areas for the production of Red tea in the region. Its English name comes from the shape of the leaves that looks like the hair of monkeys or from the red golden liquor in the cup. The leaves to produce this tea are carefully hand-picked and composed of a bud and a leaf, they are slightly narrow curves dark color with golden buds. This tea liquor is sweet, full-bodied, with fruity flavours and flowery accents.
